My name is Autumn Shores and I started working with Align The Spine in October of 2007. I do a variety of things for the office including office management & community outreach. I currently do volunteer work for the foundation for wellness professionals a non profit organization where I go out into the community and provide free of charge disease prevention programs, workshops, blood pressure checks/screenings.

I attended west Central technological college for a associate degree in marketing management. I then transferred to AIU where I attended for a dual bachelors degree in marketing & fashion design.

My employment background includes working for the GA commissioner in Department of Community Affairs as well as office management for a multimillion dollar contractors office.

I was a new born baby the first chiropractic treatment I received. My birth was very traumatic due to my umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck. My mom being a firm believer in chiropractic took me to her chiropractor the same day we were released from the hospital. She later told me it was the only way they could get me to stop crying since birth. This worked well I became a healthy child. Several years later I was in a terrible car wreck that almost left me crippled due to severely damaged hips from where my safety belt kept me inside the car. My mom was not so lucky she sustained a very severe head injury that affected how she spoke and made it nearly impossible to walk. the hospital wanted her and I to take all this pain medication and to spend a lot of our time in physical therapy. They told her she would never be the same after that and I would always have to wear leg braces just to walk. My mom said no to the meds and we went to the chiropractor. After regular visits our chiropractor was able to do what the doctors told her was impossible. I no longer require leg braces to walk and my mom got over her head injury and speaks/thinks normal again. So to make a long story short I put my health in the hands of a chiropractor. Since then I met Doctor Rattiner who helped me as a adult to get rid of my migraine's and low back pain. Any time I go to a regular doctor I'm always loaded up with medications. I personally do not like medications so instead I get my adjustments when needed and I feel great.

My personal interests include Pilate's, Yoga, Aerial Silks, & Weight training. I have a little shih zu named Diesel who I love dearly, he is like my little shadow. I also spend my spare time traveling the world anytime possible.

My name is Vanessa and I have been working as a receptionist for Align The Spine Chiropractic and Wellness Center for 3 years. I graduated from Georgia Perimeter College in 2004 with an associate degree in psychology. Before working in this field I was a server for 9 years, so this has been a whole new experience for me. I’ve learned so much about the human body and healing naturally. It has changed the way I live my life. I’m very thankful I’ve gotten the opportunity to see how Chiropractic can benefit our lives.

My name is Angela Smallwood-Lacure. I am the Chiropractic Assistant here at Align the Spine Chiropractic and Wellness Center. Being a wife and mother or 2 preteen boys (Jovunta 12, and Joseph 13,) life can get stressful at times and that’s where my appreciation heightens for Chiropractic care. I’m a patient turned employee, which is truly a blessing. My boys and I have been patients of Dr. Rattiners since 2008 and recently my husband has started receiving care. Our chiropractic care has always been a priority and now I get to live it and see others quality of life improve as well. Both doctors at this clinic are genuine people first, and Chiropractors second, so you get double the care.

Young or old, who says you, have to live with pain. I came in getting care for tingling and numbness in my finger tips and other problems started correcting themselves. My acid reflux, low back pain, mid back pain and neck pain that I had from years of serving are all gone. Joseph diagnosed with allergies to trees and grass is now able to be a normal kid outside playing. So from experience as a patient, and an employee, I advise all to make chiropractic part of your life. It truly brings on a wealth of wellness.

Mary DiStefano was hired on at Align The Spine Chiropractic and Wellness Center in March of 2011 as a Case Manager. Mary grew up in Toledo, Ohio. While spending 13 years in Sacramento, California, she attended Cosumes River College and worked for the California State Labor Department.

On a personal level, Mary enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, including her daughter and grandson, and attending NBA games.
